35 mm Slide / Negative scanning
We use the top of the line Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED film scanner that can produce
up to 48 bit color images with a 4000 dpi (dots per inch) optical resolution. The ICE4
(Image Correction and Enhancement) technology (much improved over ICE3)
removes dust and scratches from your slides.
Images can be created in either Tiff, JPEG, or Bitmap formats.
Cropping of images to content and orienting images (rotating image so that it
is upright) is included in the price.
There is a $ 50 minimum scanning order.
Materials are shipped back by via Canada Post for $ 25
(Free return shipping on orders of $ 200 or more).
There is

charge for burning to CD or DVD if JPEG
(compressed image format) is used.

Included with the cost of scanning is orientation of the image and the cropping of the image (to
content only - no borders). Images are labelled sequentially (ie.
Slide0001.jpg, Slide0002.jpg, etc.). Images can be organized into folders as per
your instructions.
